About Dutchess Weddings and Events
The secret behind the operation
So why the "T" in "Dutchess?" My childhood dog's name was Dutchess, and when I was 13 I created my own website that never launched named "Dutchess Weddings." At the age of 13, I discovered the definition of Duchess and realized it was the perfect name combination. I stopped trying to launch my business, as I was simply a 13 year old with no money, no experience, and still too young to even get a job. I recently started pursuing my own business at the age of 24. My brother and now sister-in-law trusted me with their entire wedding plans. As they set a budget for me and had one request to locate their stay in the Hamptons with only immediate family, I was on a mission. I found the perfect mansion in Bridgehampton, NY within budget but remained to look luxurious. As this was a destination wedding for the weekend with family, I included daily activities and places they could visit locally and everyone was able to keep busy. I arranged for a private chef to come to the mansion after their ceremony, which was also within budget and met everyone's dietary needs. As per the rest of the weekend, I made dinner plans with friends and extended family per the bride's request, along with any other plans she had requested. I will always thank my brother and sister-in-law for allowing me to get the chance to really express what I want to do in life. I take pride in their wedding and with what I do and what I plan to do for my upcoming clients.
